University Life

So I said I'd post something about my emotions and feelings about university. This won't be what you're expecting. So far, it's not so bad. Meeting people. Slowly, but surely. Somehow, I don't place as much an emphasis on meeting new people as some others I know. I don't see on the same level as them. In an odd way, that bothers me. People that work so hard to meet new people. Just take it as they come. I don't think it's necessary to go out of our way to make it work.

That aside, university has been alright. I already missed one MATH137 tutorial. I didn't know we had one since I thought all tutorials were cancelled the first week. Classes are alright. I didn't really meet anyone. But I never tried too. My teachers all seem great. Except for my calculus teacher. He just sucks. Work is harder to do. Gotta put a lot of effort into the work. There isn't particularly a lot of time to go out and do other things with homework and all; which I haven't even done.

I find that university isn't all that. There's still plenty to explore though, but from what I've seen... there isn't that much. I'm still trying all the different on-campus eateries. REVelation is still the best. V1's Mudie's has really nice specials though. Brubakers is alright. I've still to go to plenty of other places.

A couple more weeks and I think I'll settle into the groove of things so to speak. Until then.
